JD/MBA Liaison - Melissa Buich (2L)


Melissa grew up in Alamo, California before heading to the University of Oregon where she played Division 1 Soccer and received her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. During college, she interned for Nike, Inc. working in their North America Financial Planning department.  Melissa entered into her first year at USF Law immediately after graduation and is now in her second year in the JD/MBA program. Melissa is interested in pursuing a career in wealth management and estate planning.

Social Chair - Elisa Gibellini (3L)



Elisa was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and grew up in Miami, Florida. She graduated from College of Charleston with honors in 2007 with a bachelor of arts in political science. Before attending law school, Elisa worked as a volunteer coordinator for Susan G. Komen for the Cure and in the accounting department at Falco Electronics, an international electronic manufacturing company. 

Elisa is currently in her third year at USF Law and is excited to be on the BLA board as well as the graduation committee vice-chair. She wishes to pursue a career in civil litigation after graduation. Elisa thinks that business is the most important institution in the U.S. because business generates 100% of the money everything else needs to exist.

Vice President - Christina Inciong (3L)


Christina graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Business Administration. She held marketing positions at Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies and The Pearl Hotel during college. Christina is currently a third year student at USF Law, and she plans to pursue a career in corporate or entertainment law.

Treasurer - Rick Umoff (3L)




Rick is from Santa Barbara, CA.  He attended UC Santa Cruz and worked in operations for a tech company prior to law school.  Rick is going into his third year at USF Law.  During the summers after his 1L and 2L years, he worked for the in-house counsel at ValueClick, Inc. and 3Degrees, Inc.  Rick is interested in transactional work and regulatory work in the renewable energy and tech sectors.  

President - Karen Majovski (3L)



Karen was born in Pasadena, CA and raised in Gig Harbor, WA. She attended the University of San Diego and in 2009, graduated from the Honors program summa cum laude with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Spanish minor. During undergrad, Karen was the marketing director of the Student International Business Council and also worked for the San Diego World Trade Center. Karen is currently in her third year at USF School of Law and is a member of Law Review and the SBA. 

Director of Enrollment - Laël Shaver (3L)



Laël grew up in Stockton, California and attended Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo where she studied Microbiology with a concentration in Medicine and Public Health. After graduation, she worked for an allergy and immunology research physician where she studied the effects of microbes in refractory asthmatics. She plans to work in the field of Intellectual Property after graduating from USF.

President - Robert Angelo (3L)


Robert was born and raised in Colorado. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he majored in Business Management.  After undergrad, he moved to Chicago, IL where he worked in investment research sales for Morningstar, Inc.  After that, he worked for TIAA-CREF in their wealth management group in Phoenix, AZ.  Robert is currently in his third year at USF Law and is planning on pursuing a career in either securities or corporate law.
